π¨ Step-by-Step Guide: Dyeing the Elytra Hydro Pack
1. Gather Your Materials

2. Prepare Your Work Area
Remove any detachable parts from the pack such as hoses, clips, hydration bladders, and reflective patches to avoid staining or damaging them. Removing all little bits completely before dyeing.
3. Prepare the Dye Bath
Fill a pot with water about 3/5 full, then add 1 cup of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of dish soap. Bring the water to a boil.
4. Submerge the Pack
With gloves on, fully immerse the dry Elytra Pack fabric into the dye bath. Stir gently in a slow, circular motion to ensure an even coat and avoid streaks or uneven layers. Soak for 20β30 minutes, depending on how dark you want the pack to be.
5. Rinse Thoroughly
Once you reach your desired color. Rinse the pack under cool running water until the water runs clean. Gently squeeze to remove excess liquid without damaging the fabricβs shape.
6. Dry Properly
Hang or lay the pack flat on a drying rack in a well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight to avoid fading. Once fully dry, ensure no dampness remains before reassembly.
7. Reassemble Components
Reattach all removed parts, hydration bladder, clip attachments, hoses, straps, reflective or decorative patches.Β
